Mid to late April Antiques Fair - Todi – held in the Palazzo delle Arti. Easter Wine Week – Montefalco – Trade fair of DOC wines. |

First week Festa del Calendimaggio – Assisi –Costumed re-enactment of medieval stories lasting 3 days.
15th May Corsa dei Ceri – Gubbio – Three guilds challenge each other to carry towering candlesticks (ceri) on their shoulders up to the basilica of Sant’Ubaldo.
Pentecost Festa della Palombella – Orvieto – An artifical “dove” sets light to a cart of fireworks.
Last Sunday Palio della Balestra – Gubbio – In Piazza della Signoria, the crossbowmen of Gubbio and Sansepolcro challenge each other in a Palio. |

Second half of June Mercato delle Gaite – Bevagna - Medieval fair with splendid costumes and stalls.

Last 10 days Rockin’ Umbria – Perugia and Umbertide – Rock music festival + photography and comic exhibitions.
Late June Festa delle Acque – Piediluco and Cascata delle Marmore - Processions of boats, canoe races and fireworks. |

End June - mid July Festival di Spoleto – A major international event dedicated to theatre, dance and music.
6-12 July Montone Film Festival – Montone - A series of films are shown in the moonlit square. On the last evening the keys of city are handed to a famous actor(ess).
Mid July Umbria Jazz – Perugia – By some of the world’s great jazz artists.
July – Aug Gubbio Festival – Gubbio – Chamber and symphony music in the open air. |

Mid August -4 days Montone Festival – Montone - There is a joyful atmosphere during this Festival as the three wards challenge each other to tournaments in order to conquer the “Palio” and the “Castellana”. An impressive historical parade in full costume ends the celebrations. |

September |
Early Sept Umbertide Festival – Umbertide – bars and homes are opened up as taverns while Garibaldi and his men fight the French troops among the narrow streets of the medieval town.
Last week of Sept Giochi delle Porte – Gualdo Tadino – Includes archery and catapult competitions + donkey cart races.
Sept – Oct Segni Barocchi – Foligno – Musical and theatrical performances, all with a Baroque theme. |

Late Sept - mid Oct Giostra dell’Arme – San Gemini – Costumed knights from two districts compete in a jousting tournament.
Mid- Late Oct Festival Eurochocolate – Perugia – Chocolate stands and superb chocolate sculptures fill the historic centre.

Christmas in Assisi – Assisi – Concerts and formal celebrations are held in the basilica and other churches.
Monumental nativity – Citta della Pieve – This is Christmas to Epiphany – displayed in the Palazzo della Corgna. |
